What is Reiki?
Mikao Usui developed a holistic healing practice in the mid 1900s, in Japan. Usui Reiki Ryoho or the Reiki healing method is now practiced worldwide. Japanese words Rei mean universal/spiritual and Ki means life force energy (Chi or Prana in other languages). In a Reiki session, practitioners like myself bring this beautiful, universal energy to you.
In a Reiki session, I endeavour to create a safe and beautiful space where you can deeply relax. My session is gentle in that I hover my hands over the body, with little to no touch. It is a strong practice in that energy is often unblocked and balanced on a deep level. I will also remove any unhelpful energetic cords (decording) in the healing session. Many people find a Reiki session deeply relaxing. As a sensitive person, I find that my approach to work with strong energetic protection and spaciousness works well for sensitive people.

In-person Reiki Healing
What to expect?
My healing session is 1 hour long. You will be invited to lie (fully clothed) onto my Reiki table and close your eyes for the healing. There is an option to sit more propped up for those who find it uncomfortable to lie down. I begin the session with a led meditation and play gentle music in the background.
Where do I give Reiki?
I will either hold the session in my flat or at St Andrews Hall, a community centre paces from the river in a quiet section of Chesterton, Cambridge. There is free parking on Church Street. Taking a walk around the churchyard or along the river can be a lovely way to stay relaxed after the healing session.
How much does it cost?
A 1-hour in-person session is £50.

Distance Healing with Reiki
Reiki transcends both time and space. I will send this beautiful, powerful energy to you in a thirty-minute session. This can be done online in a live one-to-one or offline where we arrange a time for you to relax in a quiet space. I follow up all sessions with a report as to what I have perceived.
A 30 minute distance Reiki treatment is £30.

Learn Reiki With Me: My Courses
Learn this beautiful and powerful healing practice with me, in the original Usui Reiki Ryoho tradition.
Reiki Level 1 (Shoden) brings us the ability to heal ourselves. I teach energetic clearing and protection practices which make us more robust, and are good foundations for bringing healing to others. I teach this course one-to-one rather than in a group.
Course duration: Three 2-hour long sessions over three weeks. Course price: £180 or three payments of £60.
Reiki Level 2 (Okuden) enables us to give healing to others. My course certificate is recognised by Reiki associations and insurance providers, and will allow you to open a professional practice for the public if that is your aim. Reiki Level 2 is a group course with hands-on practice.
Course duration: Four 2-hour long sessions over four weeks. Course price: £240 or £60 each session.

I am a Reiki Master Teacher in the Usui Reiki Ryoho tradition and a member of the UK Reiki Federation. I am also trained in Spiritual Healing (NFSH/The Healing Trust). These are holistic practices and complementary therapies.
